Who is Holger Danske?
A legendary Danish hero said to be sleeping in Kronborg's casemates, ready to wake and defend Denmark in its hour of greatest need. Hans Christian Andersen wrote a famous story about him, and the name was adopted by the Danish resistance movement in World War II.
